Our client is a major supplier of retail sales and product demonstration staff to some of the UK's leading retail stores.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are currently looking to recruit for a Retail Store Supervisor or Manager to work in Coventry, West Midlands.
You will be highly experienced as a Supervisor or Manager within a retail sales environment, ideally from within a major retail business, shop or department store, possibly a supermarket such as tesco, Aasda or Sainsbury's, and should have experience of building, leading and managing target driven retail sales teams.
You will also be developing and delegating duties to an assistant supervisor, and taking every measure to enhance the product demonstration programs, manage costs, budgets and overheads, administration, stock control, and all other duties associated with optimising the product demonstration retail sales teams and field operations.
Initially you will need to be able to travel to a site in North Birmingham (just off the M6) for the first 2 months - although all travel costs wil be paid for - as the Coventry store is being newly built and will be opened in August.
You will be flexible with regard to working days, as you will work between 4-6 days a week on rotation, including two weekends out of every four - effectively this will be a staggered working pattern of ten days every two weeks for which you will be paid £66.15 per day.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in new product sales and demonstrations where initiative, inventiveness and forward thinking will replace typical daily retail sales duties.
