Our client works as the promotions and demonstrations arm of a large retail store chain. Due to general expansion they are looking to recruit for a retail Store Supervisor to work in their store in Gateshead.
You will be an experienced retail sales supervisor or manager, ideally with experience from the food industry, such as from a large supermarket chain, although other areas of the retail sector are equally considered.
You should ideally have an understanding of visual merchandising, promotions, demonstrations and displays and should be a good leader, able to manage, lead and motivate a retail sales tem to perform to the highest standards.
As a natural leader, you will be able to goal manage individuals, understand the dynamics of your team and utilise their strengths to ensure a dynamic and robust sales team on the shop floor.
This is a retail sales role requiring initiative, passion, enthusiasm and drive well over and above the norm.
Working a 4 day week and a 6 day week on rotation (10 days in every 14) with two weekends in every four, you will be paid at a rate of £66.15 per day (there is an initial slightly lower rate whilst in training).
